Our New House :)

I know this post is a long time coming and I apologize for it taking sooo long. I have been too lazy to do much of anything lately! As most of you know we bought a house a couple months ago in Spanish Fork.  We are really liking it here and the house is nice for Brielle to run around in.  She is loving it! We are happy to not be living on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex anymore! I have finally cleaned our house enough to photograph it for you all so you can see it! And when I say clean I am using that term very loosely! lol
This first picture wasn't shot by me.. This was shot by the guy who inspected our house before we bought it (hence all the snow!) I was just too lazy to go outside and get an updated shot haha... Looks the same... just with green grass instead of snow!

Our kitchen/dinning room area has some really nice tile! I am happy to not have linoleum... I hate that stuff!

My new bffs! I am the proud owner of our very own washer and dryer! Don't get me wrong it has been nice not owing our own in apartments (moving them would have been horrendous!!) But these have been really nice and are well worth the money we spent on them!! I can thank Ray for the awesome pedestal! I have such a handy husband!

Please excuse our awful pantry... I still haven't really organized it so it is just mass chaos. And I don't really buy a lot of pantry foods so we will see if this area ever improves... I doubt it will lol

Our living room is our favorite! it is HUGE! Like we have more space than we know what to do with (and our furniture dosn't take up much space as you can tell haha) So Brielle has plenty of room to run around in! She is loving it!

This is towards our front door. There is a little bathroom right by the front door and it makes it nice to have one so close! I didn't take a picture of that... because it is so little that I couldn't get it. And let's be honest... no one really cares about our bathroom lol

This is Brielles room! It is huge! When the previous owners origionally built the house this room was the "loft" that they converted into a bedroom when they needed it.   So she has her own HUGE room to destroy (and please note that I had just cleaned her room spotless and she came in right behind me and flung all her clothes and toys around. sigh....)

At first we all thought the dots and flowers on the wall were really cute... But as you can tell there are NO dots around her crib. She likes to peel them of the wall the little stinker! So I think they are going to come off soon and then we can paint her room something better.

This is our upstairs halway. Nothing fancy but thought I would throw it in anyways...

This is one of our empty rooms. The previous owners had lots of boys so most of the rooms were painted in boy colors (except the one with the dots and flowers obviously..) This is going to stay empty for a while I think lol We need to paint...

This has been my photography storage room lately (as you can see all my stuff is everywhere..) We are not Oakland A's fans so this has go to go as well. They were pretty offended when we told them that will be the first thing painted... They had hand drawn that on the wall their selves... oops...

This is our bedroom (notice the empty walls and serious lack of decor) I am still trying to decide how to decorate. It is such a big room and I have NO idea what to do with it.

This is the other end of our bedroom... still a bare and boring view... except for my awesome treadmill! That is a "fun" little torture toy! ;)

You can't really tell but this is our huge bathroom... with carpet... awkward...

And here is our gigantic closet (we still haven't unpacked all the way.. ) I will be doing something awesome with this beauty. I want to have one of those super organized and fancy closets... but that will probably have to wait until I have clothes to fill it. You will notice that Ray's clothes fill up most of the closet.

This is Brielle's favorite part of our house... Our yard! We have a pretty descent sized backyard for her to roam around in. She really likes having a swing set too and i like the little bitty garden in the very back corner (you can just barely see the pea plants we planted!) The previous owners left the trampoline too. So if anyone wants to come use it feel free... because it really just sits there lol

And that is about it. I did't show you the garage but no one cares about those either. We are really liking the area and it is really nice having Ray's parent's live a few miles away.  Brielle LOVES grandma and grandpas house... probably more than our own. Hopefully I will have pictures of us sometime soon (well really just of Brielle because I am that kind of a mom now. No pictures of me but thousands of my child lol really there are about 3 pictures with me in it from the past 4 months and probably 200 of Brielle.... I am awful). If anyone wants to come visit us feel free to invite yourself over! It would be fun!

Our "Surprise"

Well I the past 2 weeks have been ridiculously BUSY for us! Our big surprise is that we bought a house! It hasn't been a very big secret so I am sure most of you already knew that! lol... Right after Christmas and the New Year we went looking for houses with Ray's sister and brother-in-law.  We weren't really expecting to find anything as quickly as we did! (And go figure it was one of the last houses we looked at!) We were trying to decide between our house and a home in Santaquin but the one in Spanish Fork won out (obviously) for a number of reasons.  We then got started on the buying process and it is all history from there! There were quite a number of hoops to jump through for us but we got them all worked out and we signed our closing papers a week ago today and took possession last wednesday! I have been waiting for better weather to take a good picture but it has been TERRIBLE weather so I will just give you the picture the inspection guy took a couple of weeks ago!

The previous owners left us their swing set and a trampoline in the back yard and the bball hoop! I will have to take more pictures soon (but right now we are still in unpacking mode...).  The master bed, bath, and closet are ridiculously HUGE (no really... our closet could really double as a bedroom if it needed to lol) and Brielle is absolutely LOVING all the extra room she has to run around and be crazy!  I am excited to have a place that we can call ours (and have kitchen counter space so I can stop lighting things on fire on our oven....)! More to come in the next couple of weeks so check back often! :)

November-December

There is not much to blog about November... I even forgot to take pictures of Thanksgiving... Not that it was too eventful but oh well...
The MAIN thing that happened in November was my sister had her baby!! Baby Makayla and she is THE CUTEST BABY EVER! She was so small and she was the perfect little newborn model! :) (If you want to see more you should go check it out on my photography blogsite www.marleedavisphotography.com) But we all kinda like her!

The only other real photos I took on November were these:

At least there was some book reading and not only iphone playing... she really is too hooked on electronics already.. sigh...

Next, In December Ray's sister and brother in law came for the month (They have been in Ohio for school) Brielle LOVES playing with Eliana can ya tell!?

Then, my dad got promoted to a Colonel in the Utah National Gaurd! Pretty cool! Even though that does mean they will be gone for a whole year to Texas A&M for war college! That will be a sad day!

One weekend when we were visiting in Heber, My parent's ward had a Christmas party and I decided to tag along!

Brielle hated santa. For Real!

I decided to splurge this Christmas and get Brielle a christmas dress! I think she looks pretty darn cute with her cute curls! Her hair is getting so long but you would never know it with all the curl she has!!

Ah... Christmas!! We Spent Christmas eve at my grandparents/parents house! And then Christmas day at Ray's parents houe.  It was fun and yet again I forgot to take pictures... Or they are on another camera.. not sure. But I do have Christmas Even night! Christmas Jammies!!

This could have been chaos.. but luckily everyone was too tired to really throw fits!

On christmas morning, this is what all the kids woke up to! My dad is a dork and bought this because he felt bad that we never got one for christmas growing up lol

This is a little out of order but I turned 25 this year! I am not really a fan of cake so I made ginger cookies with cream cheese frosting for my "birthday cake"! They were delicious!

(sorry it's upside down... too lazy to fix it lol)

I made this cute hat for Brielle! Cute little penguin! You cant see it but it matches the shirt she is wearing.. it had penguin on it too.. but she wouldn't leave it on :( oh well...

Lastly, I decided I wanted to take some pictures of the kids for Christmas Here they are:

Best picture EVER!! I love this girl!

Aww.. baby Makayla was so nice to let me take EVEN MORE pictures of her!
She is a super cute trooper!

See! Christmas Chaos!!

Mikey liked the Santa hat! The only child that would leave the dang thing on!

Braxton was having fun towards the end... At least we got a good one!

And this folks is the true SHOCKER! A smile from Marcus in a picture that isn't BLURY from his constant moving!! It is a christmas miracle!

Aren't they all sooo cute!? :)

Anyways, we didn't really do much for New Years... We are too old folk-ish to stay up past 10 at the latest. I know. But we do have some exciting news that I will get to in another post! :) I don't want to have everyone thinking that I am pregnant so NO I am NOT pregnant. That is not the exciting news. Just to clear that up.

The end of September through October

Well welcome to my new blog... Since the other was so full I had to start a new one.... I also wasn't able to "finish" off the last few months of 2012.  So... let's begin.
First off is my little sisters baby shower! :) It was fun!

aww... isn't she a cute prego mama?

Can I just say I found THE BEST drink!? It's a "blow pop fake-tini" It's just sprite with a blow pop in it.. but if you let the sucker dissolve enough they are sooooo addicting! I think I had like 3. I will defiantly be making these again!! lol

Next, Since I spend a good amount of time hanging out at my parents house I decided one weekend to take my bike up. I LOVE my bike. Probably the best money we ever spent! Since it was just me going (no Ray to babysit) I have to take Brielle with me. Now generally it is ok with just her but this time I decided to take my nephew Braxton! I decided to be CRAZY and go to the top of Valley Hills (worst bike ride EVER! It was so hard pulling probably 80 extra pounds UP HILL!!) But it was worth it!

(Don't mind my bright red face... but it's to be expected... lol)

See! Told ya! Worth it!

Next we can jump to the end-ish of October lol We all decided to go to a pumpkin patch near my house in Riverton. It was the cutest little pumpkin patch ever! Too bad we are moving and wont live next to this farm anymore!

silly Grandpa.. had to carry the kids around in the wheelbarrow!

The finished product! :) cute spider eh!?

Now for the good stuff! Halloween!!! I have always liked Halloween but having Brielle old enough to go trick-or-treating was sooo fun! My sister had gotten all super hero costumes for her boys so I decided to follow the theme and go super hero! Who better to choose than WONDER WOMAN!!??
I think I chose right. What do you think? Isn't she the best wonder woman EVER!!!

It is total chaos whenever we try and get a picture with all the grandkids... (wait until you see the awesome ones we got for christmas lol...)

All in all it was a great October and a great Halloween!!
